Od 1970. godine, festival Žisel okuplja film, umetnost i seoski život u selu Omoljica, blizu Pančeva, u Srbiji. Svakog leta ugošćuje filmske stvaraoce koji se filmom bave iz hobija, umetnike iz cele zemlje i šire, nudeći platformu za kreativne glasove kroz film, fotografiju i otvoreni dijalog.

Since 1970, the Žisel Festival has been bringing together film, art, and rural life in the village of Omoljica, near Pančevo, Serbia. Every summer, the festival welcomes filmmakers engaged in filmmaking as a hobby, artists from across the country and beyond, offering a platform for creative voices through cinema, photography, and open dialogue.

U leto 2025. godine, Omoljica će ponovo postati centar umetničkog izražavanja i filmske tradicije, jer Filmski festival „Žisel“ slavi 55. godišnjicu. Kao jedan od najdugovečnijih festivala tog tipa, u Srbiji i širem regionu, „Žisel“ je izrastao u značajan kulturni događaj koji okuplja stvaraoce iz Srbije i inostranstva. Popratni deo festivala je Međunarodni festival fotografije, koji, iako nešto mlađi, ove godine obeležava svoje 53. izdanje. Zajedno, ova dva usko povezana događaja slave vizuelno pripovedanje u njegovim mnogobrojnim oblicima, podstičući kreativnost, dijalog i zajedničku strast prema umetnosti.
In summer 2025, Omoljica will once again become a center of artistic expression and cinematic tradition, as the Žisel Film Festival celebrates its 55th anniversary. As one of the longest-running festivals of grassroots cinema in Serbia and the wider region, Žisel has grown into a significant cultural event that brings together creators from both Serbia and abroad. Accompanying part of the festival is the International Photography Festival, which, although slightly younger, marks its 53rd edition this year. Together, these two closely connected events celebrate visual storytelling in its many forms, fostering creativity, dialogue, and a shared passion for the arts.

Filmski Festival Žisel osnovan je 1970. godine i predstavlja najstariji festival i manifestaciju takve vrste u Evropi.
Održava se svake godine u selu Omoljica kraj Pančeva, i okuplja autore i posetioce iz Srbije i inostranstva.
Žisel slavi selo, ljude koji u njemu žive i priče koje zaslužuju da budu ispričane. Na ovoj stranici želimo sačuvati duh jedinstvene manifestacije koja spaja film, fotografiju i ljubav prema ruralnom životu.
Kroz kameru, kroz objektiv, seoski život dobija svoje mesto u kulturi. To je ono što nas inspiriše.

Žisel - International Film Festival was founded in 1970 and stands as the oldest event of its kind in Europe.
Held annually in the village of Omoljica near Pančevo, the festival brings together, from 1973, along with filmmakers, photographers from Serbia and around the world.
Žisel celebrates rural life, the people who live it, and the stories that deserve to be told. This page is dedicated to preserving the spirit of a unique event that unites film, photography, and a deep love for life in the countryside.
Through the camera, through the lens, village life finds its rightful place in culture. That is what inspires us.
